Wheels India surges on earmarking Rs 250 crore as capital expenditure for current fiscal

Wheels India is currently trading at Rs. 748.85, up by 13.70 points or 1.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 735.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 731.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 766.00 and Rs. 731.00 respectively. So far 1799 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 914.55 on 08-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 548.00 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 790.80 and Rs. 727.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1849.58 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.53%, while public held 42.47% stake in the company.
Wheels India has drawn up a capital expenditure plan of Rs 250 crore for the current financial year, with the majority of it set aside for manufacturing windmill components. The company is expecting its overseas business to be strong during the current financial year.
