Unity Bank Enhances Interest Rates on Savings Accounts

Unity Small Finance Bank Limited (Unity Bank), a new age, digital first bank, has enhanced its savings account interest rate slabs. It will now offer 7.25% p.a. on deposit balances greater than Rs. 1 lakh and up to Rs. 5 Lakhs. Whereas it will offer 7.50% p.a. on deposits greater than Rs 5 Lakhs and up to Rs 50 lakhs and 7.75% on balances greater than Rs 50 lakhs. Interest on all slabs is paid monthly and will provide our valued customers with greater flexibility and benefits as they save for their financial goals.

For balances upto Rs 1 lakh, Unity Bank offers an interest rate of 6.00% p.a.

The savings account interest rates are as below:

On Fixed Deposits, Unity Bank continues to offer an interest rate of 9.50% p.a. to senior citizens and 9.00% p.a. to general investors for a tenure of 1001 days.

Unity Bank is a Scheduled Commercial Bank, promoted by Centrum Financial Services Ltd with Resilient Innovations Pvt Ltd as a joint investor.

    3. The above card rates are applicable for recurring deposits (Specific Tenors).
    4. For premature withdrawal of fixed deposit and recurring deposits, a premature penalty of 1.00% shall be charged to the rate applicable for the period the deposit has remained with the bank, or the contracted rate, whichever is lower.
