Ultratech Cement falls as its Q2 consolidated net profit declines 36% to Rs 825 crore

Ultratech Cement is currently trading at Rs. 10777.85, down by 91.45 points or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 10869.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 10800.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 11074.60 and Rs. 10743.45 respectively. So far 6425 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 12138.25 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8148.30 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 11415.80 and Rs. 10743.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 312277.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.10% and 7.41% respectively.

Ultratech Cement  has reported 34.72% fall in its net profit at Rs 796.89 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25) as compared to Rs 1,220.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 3.50% at Rs 15,086.95 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 15,634.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 35.55% fall in net profit at Rs 825.18 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 1,280.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.00% at Rs 15,855.46 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 16,179.26 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
