UCO Bank surges on posting 50% jump in net profit in Q2

UCO Bank is currently trading at Rs. 46.33, up by 0.68 points or 1.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 45.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 47.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 48.40 and Rs. 46.20 respectively. So far 1134615 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 70.66 on 08-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 34.71 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 48.40 and Rs. 44.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 55977.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 95.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.34% and 3.26% respectively.

UCO Bank has reported 50.06% rise in its net profit at Rs 602.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 401.67 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 20.56% at Rs 7,071.43 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 5,865.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
