Tech Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 1277.10, up by 5.05 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 1272.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1272.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1280.00 and Rs. 1270.50 respectively. So far 4247 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1416.00 on 23-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 982.95 on 28-Apr-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1321.80 and Rs. 1264.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 124707.62 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.11%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.67% and 11.23% respectively.
Tech Mahindra has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 to build 'Garuda,' a Large Language Model (LLM) to preserve Bahasa Indonesia, the official and national language of Indonesia and its dialects. Garuda will be built on the principles of Tech Mahindra's indigenous LLM 'Project Indus', a foundational model designed to converse in a multitude of Indic languages and dialects.
The unique features of Garuda will create multiple use cases and enable Indosat's customers to leverage various applications, including customer support, experience, and content creation across industries such as healthcare, e-commerce, rural education, banking and finance, agriculture, and telecom. The model will offer personalised customer experiences by analysing sentiment and understanding behavioural patterns, resulting in flexible learning based on customers' previous interactions. As part of this partnership, the company will leverage its technology expertise to gather and curate data in the Indonesian language, which will be pre-trained and released as a conversational model for Indosat.
