Tata Teleservices moves up on getting nod to acquire 26% stake in P&T Renewable Energy

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) is currently trading at Rs. 76.37, up by 0.41 points or 0.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 75.96 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 76.42 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 77.39 and Rs. 75.25 respectively. So far 514175 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 111.48 on 19-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 65.29 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 84.50 and Rs. 70.58 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14921.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.36%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.44% and 23.20% respectively.

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) has received approval for investment for an amount of around Rs 5.3 crore towards subscription for 26% stake in P&T Renewable Energy, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed by Prabhat Renewable Energy and Agro for setting up Captive Solar Power Plant in Maharashtra. 

The company proposes to sign an agreement for sourcing a portion of the company's power requirements for its locations at Turbhe, Pune, Nashik & Nagpur in Maharashtra. The Board of Directors of the company, at their meeting held on January 23, 2025, has approved the same.
