SpiceJet falls despite reporting over two-fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs. 43.17, down by 0.64 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 43.81 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 46.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.00 and Rs. 43.06 respectively. So far 23226210 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.90 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 39.91 on 18-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 46.90 and Rs. 41.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6134.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.76% and 47.78% respectively.

SpiceJet has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 324.87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 118.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 17.53% at Rs 1,941.61 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2,354.36 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 341.74 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 126.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 17.55% at Rs 1,958.05 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2374.72 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported a net profit at Rs 58.07 crore as compared to a net loss at Rs 409.44 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 20.72% at Rs 6,736.15 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8,496.97 crore for year ended March 31, 2024. the company has reported a net profit at

For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit at Rs 61.93 crore as compared to a net loss at Rs 423.72 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 20.60% at Rs 6,768.26 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8,524.03 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
