Skipper soars on securing orders worth Rs 924 crore
Skipper is currently trading at Rs. 245.80, up by 10.85 points or 4.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 234.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 237.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 252.30 and Rs. 237.30 respectively. So far 26588 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 254.90 on 01-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 67.45 on 03-Nov-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 252.30 and Rs. 217.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2525.17 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.24% and 19.87% respectively.
Skipper has secured new orders /notification of awards (NOA) of Rs 924 crore. The company has received orders in the Domestic T&D business of Rs 788 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), while orders worth of Rs 136 crore have been received for several other Domestic T&D projects including Telecom.
Skipper is engaged in structural fabrication and manufacturing of mild steel and galvanized iron pipes, steel tubular poles, scaffolding and accessories and PVC pipes. Structural fabrication is the major contributor to the revenue of the company.
