Observations

USDINR trading range for the day is 95.17-95.61.

Rupee ended modestly higher, wedged between anxiety over the Middle East conflict and the impact of persistent central bank intervention.

The currency came under pressure as uncertainty over the end of the US-Iran conflict drove oil prices higher.

The central bank has been selling dollars through state-run banks, with traders saying the rupee would likely have weakened further without the support.

 

EURINR
