Ramco Cements surges on boosting clinkerisation capacity of Kolimigundla Cement Plant

Ramco Cements is currently trading at Rs. 1029.00, up by 10.30 points or 1.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 1018.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1019.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1029.50 and Rs. 1019.85 respectively. So far 3106 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1049.15 on 05-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 636.15 on 30-Jan-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1049.15 and Rs. 1002.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24237.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.11%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.60% and 13.29% respectively.

Ramco Cements has made de-bottlenecking of the Pyro Processing System at its Kolimigundla Cement Plant. With this de-bottlenecking, the revised clinkerisation capacity is 3.15 MTPA from earlier capacity of 2.50 MTPA (Addition of 0.65 MTPA). The company has also obtained Consent to Operate from Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board on December 07, 2023 for the same.
