Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak & Ranvir Shorey talk about their new film Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa
Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa, written and directed by Rajat Kapoor, is set to release on ZEE5 on April 10. The film stars Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Waluscha De Sousa, Saurabh Shukla, Neil Bhoopalam, Koel Purie, Chandrachoor Rai, Palomi Ghosh, and Rajat Kapoor. Ahead of its release, Vinay, Ranvir, and Rajat spoke to ANI about creating the murder mystery. Rajat shared his fascination with genre cinema, particularly murder mysteries, while Ranvir emphasized that the film’s strength lies in its characters, especially Sohrab Handa. Vinay praised Rajat’s intelligent writing and vision. The story follows Sohrab Handa, a sharp-tongued, arrogant bully, whose presence dominates an outstation celebration. What begins as playful banter turns deadly when Sohrab is found murdered, revealing hidden resentments, moral tensions, and the unsettling truth that although everyone appeared to love him, many had reasons to want him silenced.
