Rail Vikas Nigam surges on bagging LoA worth Rs 447.42 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 388.30, up by 5.95 points or 1.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 382.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 387.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 391.40 and Rs. 386.20 respectively. So far 160060 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 647.00 on 15-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 295.25 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 392.05 and Rs. 379.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 79720.74 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.29% and 15.88% respectively.
Rail Vikas Nigam has received letter of award (LoA) worth Rs 447.42 crore (inclusive of 18 % GST) (Incl. all taxes) from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for contract D2C-02: ‘part design and construction of viaduct of length 7.298 kms. from Chainage 1202.782 M to Chainage 8501.25 M including seven stations (only platforms) namely Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj and Lajpat Nagar including Pre-Engineered Building Structure in all stations of Lajpat Nagar to Saket G block corridor of Delhi MRTS Phase-IV Project.’ The order is to be executed within 36 months.

The company is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
