Rail Vikas Nigam rises on forming joint venture with Jakson Green

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 241.20, up by 0.50 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 240.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 248.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 251.40 and Rs. 226.90 respectively. So far 9445677 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 251.40 on 18-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.15 on 01-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 251.40 and Rs. 198.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 50144.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.15% and 19.02% respectively.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has formed a 49:51 joint venture (JV) with Jakson Green (JGPL) viz., JGPL-RVNL EPC. The JV will explore opportunity in Solar Power Projects in India and Abroad. RVNL will hold 49% stake of JV, while JGPL will hold 51%.

Rail Vikas Nigam is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
