The benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices are expected to open on a positive note on November 12, following GIFT Nifty trends indicating a gain of 140 points for the broader index.
After a positive opening, Nifty can find support at 25,800 followed by 25,750 and 25,700. On the higher side, 25,850 can be an immediate resistance, followed by 25,900 and 26,000.
The charts of Bank Nifty indicate that it may get support at 58,200 followed by 58,000 and 57,800. If the index advances further, 58,400 would be the initial key resistance, followed by 58,600 and 58,800.
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) continued their selling on the second consecutive day on November 11 as they sold equities of Rs 803 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) continued their buying in this month so far, as they bought equities of Rs 2188 crore on the same day.
INDIAVIX was positive Yesterday up by 1.54% and is currently trading at 12.4900.
The Nifty 50 index opened on a flat note and witnessed selling pressure soon after the opening. However, the index took intraday support near the 25,450 mark and witnessed a strong pullback, eventually ending the session on a positive note near the 25,700 level. On the daily chart, a positive hammer pattern has formed, indicating buying interest emerging from lower levels. Globally, markets were positive, though Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) continued their selling, suggesting cautious undertones. On the downside, immediate support is placed around 25,600–25,500, and if breached, further pressure may be seen. On the upside, resistance is observed near 25,800, followed by the 25,900–26,000 zone. Considering the current setup, a “buy on dips” strategy is advisable while maintaining strict stop-loss levels to manage risk effectively.
