"The Union Budget 2025-26 takes a strategic approach to resolving stalled housing projects with the launch of SWAMIH Fund 2.0, allocating ?15,000 crore to complete an additional 1 lakh dwelling units. With the first SWAMIH fund already delivering 50,000 homes and another 40,000 set for completion in 2025, this initiative will directly accelerate urban infrastructure development. Given that the residential sector accounts for a significant share of elevator installations, this move is expected to drive demand for new elevator units across these projects. Additionally, the sustained push for affordable and mid-income housing will reinforce the need for efficient, high-density vertical mobility solutions, paving the way for growth and innovation in our industry."
