PVR INOX Opens Sikkim's First Multiplex at Westpoint Mall, Gangtok - Bringing a World - Class Cinema Experience to the Hills
PVR INOX, India’s largest and most premium multiplex chain, proudly announces the launch of its first cinema in Sikkim, located at Westpoint Mall, Gangtok. Developed under the Franchise-Owned Company-Operated (FOCO) model in collaboration with Westpoint Infra Pvt. Ltd., this 3-screen multiplex marks a significant milestone for the brand, bringing a world-class cinematic experience to the Northeast.
The new property features 482 seats across three mainstream auditoriums, each equipped with state-of-the-art 2K Laser projection and Dolby 7.1 surround sound with next-gen 3D offering an immersive viewing experience.
All seats are finished in premium leatherette, with ergonomic Slider models designed for enhanced comfort. Aesthetically, each auditorium showcases a unique colour palette—Green (Sycamore) Teal, and Gold adding visual distinction to the luxurious interiors. Spanning 12,271 sq. ft., the multiplex also offers an extensive food and beverage menu, blending gourmet selections with local favourites.
Strategically located near MG Marg in the heart of the city, the cinema is housed within Westpoint Mall—a premium shopping and lifestyle destination featuring popular brands such as H&M, Pantaloons, Levi’s, Vero Moda, Pizza Hut, and KFC. Its central location makes it easily accessible.
