Pricol surges on acquiring shares in Pricol Electronics

Pricol is currently trading at Rs. 468.00, up by 10.25 points or 2.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 457.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 458.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 473.70 and Rs. 455.75 respectively. So far 4491 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 542.05 on 01-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 310.75 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 474.00 and Rs. 448.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5683.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.46% and 30.03% respectively.

Pricol has acquired entire 15,00,000 shares of Pricol Electronics (step down wholly owned subsidiary) of Re 1 each held by Pricol Asia Pte (wholly owned subsidiary of Pricol) for operational convenience.

Pricol Electronics will henceforth be a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Pricol. Pricol Electronics was incorporated on April 11, 2023. The Company is yet to commence its business operation.

Pricol is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of Instrument clusters and other allied automobile components to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and replacement markets.
