President Droupadi Murmu highlights India`s progress on equality during Vijayadashami celebrations

Delhi's Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta ji, who is here to celebrate the festival of Dussehra.

Minister in the Delhi Government Mr. Parvesh Sahib Singh ji.

Mr. Akash Gehlot ji, President of the Dwarka Shri Ramleela Ceremony, dignitaries on the stage, and all the brothers and sisters gathered here.

Best wishes and greetings to all the ladies and family members on the great festival of Dussehra.

I extend my heartfelt greetings to all my fellow citizens on the festival of Dussehra. This festival celebrates the victory of dharma and justice over adharma and injustice.

Ladies and family members.

Lord Shri Ram is considered the very embodiment of dharma and moral conduct. On the occasion of Dussehra, millions of people across India and abroad remember the great ideals of the Ramayana through the Ramleela performances held in many places.

The Ramayana places great importance on the cleanliness of water and air, the beauty of trees and gardens, and the interconnectedness of animals, birds, and human society. Heartwarming examples include the respect shown to Kaag, Bhusendu, Jatayu, and Jambavan, as well as the squirrel's contribution to building the Ram Setu.

These are examples of this. The great Indian tradition of respecting nature is also reflected in our Constitution. Protecting and developing rivers, lakes, forests, and wildlife is also included in the fundamental duties of citizens outlined in the Constitution.

Ram Kevat.

A beautiful meeting between Lord Shri Ram and Nishad Raj. Many episodes from the Ram Katha, like Lord Shri Ram eating the leftover berries of Mata Shabari, effortlessly convey messages of social prosperity, love, and equality.

India's great social reformers and saint poets, like Sant Kabir and Sant Ravidas, considered Ram to be the ultimate truth.

It makes me happy to see that today's India is moving forward on the ideals of equality and inclusion described in the Ram Katha.

I.

Once again to all my fellow countrymen.

I extend my heartfelt greetings on this Dussehra. I also want to congratulate all the members of the Dwarka Ramlila Committee for sharing the story of Ramlila with thousands of people today and putting on the Ravana Dahan scene. They are keeping this cultural tradition alive, so I want to thank them very much.

Want to do.
