Power Grid inches up on planning to raise up to Rs 12,000 crore on private placement basis
Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 275.45, up by 0.25 points or 0.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 275.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 271.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 276.15 and Rs. 268.35 respectively. So far 211594 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.95 on 07-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 171.23 on 13-Apr-2023.

Power Grid Corporation of India is planning to raise funds via issue of Unsecured, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable POWERGRID Bond Issue(s) during FY 2024-25 in one or more tranches/ series up to Rs 12,000 crore on private placement. A meeting of ‘Committee of Directors for Bonds’ is scheduled to be held on April 17, 2024 to consider the same.
