Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 234.70, up by 1.40 points or 0.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 233.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 235.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 235.85 and Rs. 234.40 respectively. So far 133610 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 238.00 on 15-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 153.34 on 09-Jan-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 235.85 and Rs. 222.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 218936.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.22% and 3.44% respectively.

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has acquired Koppal II Gadag II Transmission (KIIGIITL), the Project SPV on December 26, 2023, to establish Transmission System for 'Transmission Scheme for Integration of Renewable Energy Zone (Phase-II) in Koppal-II (Phase-A & B) and Gadag-II (Phase-A) in Karnataka', on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - PFC Consulting.

The Project comprises establishment of a new 765/400kV Koppal- II Pooling Station; a new 400/220kV Gadag- II Pooling Station; 2 nos. of 765kV D/c transmission lines traversing in the state of Karnataka; 400kV D/c transmission line traversing in the state of Karnataka as well as associated bay extension works at Narendra and Raichur Substations.
