Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Dashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi on May 14 ahead of filing his nomination for the 18th Lok Sabha Polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also performed Pooja at the ghat. Prime Minister Modi is the sitting MP and BJP candidate from Varanasi. Varanasi is set to face the electoral frenzy on June 01 in the seventh phase of the polling process. Congress has fielded Uttar Pradesh party chief Ajay Rai from Varanasi.
