The Congress In-charge of Chhattisgarh Kumari Selja hit out at the central government on Mahadev betting app-linked allegations against CM Bhupesh Baghel and stated that when all tactics fail, they resort to such things. Selja took a jibe at the BJP and said that they were expecting misuse of the central agencies during elections which is currently happening. She further added that people of Chhattisgarh trust the Congress and she went on to say that the Baghel government is 'bharose ki sarkar'.
Kumari Selja said, "They have been saying things like this when they couldn't find anything else. Here, good work has been done by Bhupesh Baghel. People don't trust the BJP. When all tactics fail, they always resort to things like this. We were expecting more misuse of central agencies during elections, and that is happening. We trust the work we do. Bhupesh Baghel and the entire state cabinet have worked hard, and we will carry it forward. The people of Chhattisgarh trust us, and this is ‘bharose ki sarkar’."
