PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti says, "I am delighted to visit the site here in Awantipora where the AIIMS is being constructed. This was a dream of my father... Although there were some delays due to various reasons, the work is now progressing well. I have assured the team that I will provide whatever support is needed, even if it means taking the matter up with the Union Health Minister... This institute will serve as a model for the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir. The location itself is stunning. I feel that patients will experience a sense of well-being in this environment..."
