PCBL Chemical declines on reporting 37% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

PCBL Chemical is currently trading at Rs. 363.50, down by 27.70 points or 7.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 391.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 372.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 378.90 and Rs. 346.90 respectively. So far 486529 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 584.50 on 30-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 208.80 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 462.40 and Rs. 346.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13775.50 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.03% and 35.57% respectively.

PCBL Chemical has reported 23.16% fall in its net profit at Rs 110.99 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 144.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 3.44% at Rs 1437.97 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 1489.16 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 37.08% fall in net profit at Rs 93.11 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 147.98 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 21.46% at Rs 2021.09 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 1663.93 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
