NLC India gains on reporting 48% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 234.80, up by 1.50 points or 0.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 233.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 241.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 241.65 and Rs. 231.50 respectively. So far 30368 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 296.70 on 03-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 185.85 on 17-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 251.00 and Rs. 226.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32572.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.51% and 6.30% respectively.

NLC India has reported 25.77% fall in its net profit at Rs 368.17 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1FY26) as compared to Rs 495.98 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 4.25% at Rs 2779.77 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 2903.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 48.09% rise in its net profit at Rs 839.21 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 566.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 12.99% at Rs 4115.85 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 3642.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
