Marsons soars on receiving LoA worth Rs 42.71 crore

Marsons is currently trading at Rs. 170.85, up by 4.30 points or 2.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 166.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 169.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 171.70 and Rs. 167.05 respectively. So far 24070 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'Z' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 356.00 on 11-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.73 on 06-Feb-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 175.00 and Rs. 151.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2924.84 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.65%, while Non-Institutions held 46.35% stake in the company.
Marsons has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for the supply of 10 MVA 33/11 kV power transformers to Jakson for the MSEDCL RDSS Scheme Maharashtra. Broad consideration or size of the order is Rs 42.71 crore (exclusive of GST). The said order is expected to be completed in 9-12 months.
Marsons is an India-based company engaged in manufacturing of transformers. The Company operates in two divisions: transformer division and project division.
