Mahindra & Mahindra gains on reporting 19% rise in overall auto sales in April 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 2965.20, up by 40.00 points or 1.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 2925.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2956.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3000.00 and Rs. 2942.90 respectively. So far 28996 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3276.30 on 10-Feb-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2159.10 on 13-May-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3000.00 and Rs. 2831.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 369800.60 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 68.15% and 13.38% respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 19 per cent year-on-year increase in overall auto sales (including exports) to 84,170 units in April 2025. In the passenger vehicles segment, the company’s utility vehicles sales surged 28 per cent to 52,330 units in the domestic market in April 2025 as against 41,008 units in the year-ago period, up 28 per cent. Domestic sales for commercial vehicles stood at 22,989 units.
