Larsen & Toubro gains on reporting 16% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 4018.00, up by 66.30 points or 1.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 3951.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3994.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4062.50 and Rs. 3983.20 respectively. So far 594641 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4016.90 on 29-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2967.65 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4062.50 and Rs. 3897.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 552574.60 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 63.07% and 36.93% stake in the company respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has reported net loss of Rs 3,591.17 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26) as compared to net profit of Rs 1,988.22 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company increased by 1.23% at Rs 36,189.27 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 35,750.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 15.63% rise in its net profit at Rs 3,926.09 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 3,395.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 10.71% at Rs 69,367.81 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 62,655.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
