L&T gains as its construction arm secures new order for Transportation Infrastructure business vertical

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 3057.95, up by 36.00 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 3021.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3038.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3062.50 and Rs. 2995.95 respectively. So far 36150 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3057.00 on 29-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1814.00 on 03-Oct-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3057.00 and Rs. 2870.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 429685.73 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 63.54% and 36.46% stake respectively, in the company.

L&T's construction arm -- L&T construction has secured new order for its Transportation Infrastructure business vertical for the prestigious Dahisar Bhayander Bridge project in Mumbai.

The project has been awarded by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) for construction of 4.5 Km long bridge connecting Dahisar and Bhayander. The project will significantly reduce the travel time between Dahisar and Bhayander which currently takes more than 45 minutes.

The 4.5 Km link will have two separate carriageways and multi-level interchange and Dahisar and Bhayander for seamless entry and exit. The project will also have two large navigational spans along the creek. L&T is already executing two packages of the prestigious Mumbai Costal Road projects, for Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
