Kwality Pharmaceuticals surges on acquiring land for Amritsar manufacturing facility expansion

Kwality Pharmaceuticals has acquired 4 acres of land adjacent to its existing manufacturing facility in Amritsar, Punjab, to support its next phase of growth. The company plans to develop a fully automated manufacturing facility comprising 4 injectable lines and 6+ lines for tablets, capsules, ophthalmic and other oral solid dosage formulations, designed with due consideration to applicable EU GMP requirements.
The expansion aims to meet growing demand for existing and upcoming products, create capacity for future launches and bioequivalence-led opportunities, and strengthen the company's Amritsar manufacturing campus. The project is targeted for completion by Q4 FY2028, with full operations expected by Q2 FY2029, reinforcing the Company's commitment to scalable capacity and sustainable growth.
