KPI Green Energy touches roof on bagging 100MW Solar Power Project under tender issued by MAHAGENCO

KPI Green Energy is currently trading at its upper limit of Rs. 1526.00, up by 72.65 points or 5.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 1453.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1500.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1526.00 and Rs. 1482.45 respectively. So far 33930 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1895.95 on 26-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 259.03 on 29-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1812.00 and Rs. 1424.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9199.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.05% and 38.87% respectively.

KPI Green Energy has emerged as the successful bidder in the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) tender for development of 100MW Solar Power Project. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards growth, consolidation and excellence. 

The company had participated under the EPC package with land to develop cumulative capacity 600 MWAC Solar-PV Power Projects at various locations in Maharashtra under RE Bundling Scheme vide RFX No. 3000042146 issued by MAHAGENCO. This tender was for the development of cumulative capacity of 600 MW Solar-PV Power Projects at various locations in Maharashtra under RE Bundling Scheme. The company has received the Letter of Intent from MAHAGENCO with Ref. No. CE/REP&P/600MW/RE Bundling/No00407 dated March 15, 2024, awarding the company 100 MW Solar Power Project.

This tender win marks a pivotal moment in the company’s journey as it expands its business beyond the state of Gujarat.
