Bajaj Auto surges on reporting 25% rise in March sales

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 9188.05, up by 147.00 points or 1.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 9041.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9144.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9245.00 and Rs. 9144.00 respectively. So far 5857 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 9284.65 on 27-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3890.30 on 03-Apr-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9284.65 and Rs. 8925.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 252407.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.94%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.38% and 21.68% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 25% in total sales to 3,65,904 units in March 2024 as against 2,91,567 in the same month last year. Total domestic (2-WH + CV) sales increased by 18% to 2,20,393 units in March 2024 as compared to 1,86,522 units in March 2023. Total exports (2?WH + CV) increased by 39% to 1,45,511 units in March 2024 as compared to 1,05,045 units in March 2023.       

Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 20% at 1,83,004 units in March 2024 as compared to 1,52,287 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 37,389 units in March 2024 as against 34,235 units in March 2023, registering a rise of 9%.
