HDFC Bank soars on reporting 33% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit
HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1643.00, up by 35.90 points or 2.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 1607.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1615.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1646.25 and Rs. 1613.00 respectively. So far 137293 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1791.90 on 03-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1363.45 on 14-Feb-2024.

HDFC Bank has reported 35.33% rise in its net profit at Rs 16174.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 11951.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by44.77% at Rs 83701.25 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 57816.67 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 33.18% rise in net profit at Rs 16474.85 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 12370.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by91.73% at Rs 116996.49 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 61021.29 crore fort he corresponding quarter previous year.
