Kerala Blast: Rajeev Chandrasekhar visits Kochi hospital to meet blast victims
Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar on October 30 paid a visit to Government Medical College in Kerala’s Kochi to see the victims after a blast took place at a prayer meeting in the Kalamassery area of Kochi district on October 29.
Talking to the media, "I have come here on behalf of all my colleagues and the government to visit these patients and the victims of this bomb blast, to see how they are progressing... I will visit the bomb blast site after this... I am grateful to the hospital staff here for treating and saving lives... It is certainly a very difficult time for the families of those who lost their loved ones..."The blast took the lives of three people while four are in critical condition in a hospital. According to the police, preliminary investigation suggests that IEDs were used to trigger the blasts.
