Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar paid last respects to veteran BJP leader Ramachandra Gowda, who passed away on July 14.
“He worked as a corporator and in many other capacities. They are a big family from Bengaluru. He always maintained political ethics. He had a lot of followers within his party and outside it. On behalf of the Karnataka govt, I have come to pay my respects to him. We want to send him off with state honours. He wanted to attend my swearing-in ceremony. May his soul rest in peace…,” said DK Shivakumar.
