Karnataka: 9 elephants receive grand welcome at Mysuru Palace for Dasara Festival
9 elephants, who will be participating in Dasara festival, were traditionally welcomed at Mysuru Palace after performing pujas. Hundreds of people gathered along the route to see the fully decorated elephants and offered prayers. Notably, Mysuru Dasara is a 10-day festival, which starts from the first day of Navaratri and concludes on Vijayadashami (Dusshera). This year, Mysuru Dasara will begin from September 22 and will end by October 2.
