Kalpataru Projects International surges as its arm gets nod to acquire additional stake in Fasttel
Kalpataru Projects International is currently trading at Rs. 1095.35, up by 29.45 points or 2.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 1065.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1086.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1097.95 and Rs. 1060.00 respectively. So far 5598 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1161.55 on 11-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 485.00 on 30-May-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1100.00 and Rs. 1051.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17644.90 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.50% and 7.90% respectively.
Kalpataru Projects International’s (KPIL) Wholly Owned Subsidiary -- Kalpataru Power Do Brasil Participacoes Ltda. (KPBPL), Brazil, has received approval for subscription to 5,500,000 equity shares having face value of BRL 10 per share of Fasttel Engenharia S.A., Brazil (Fasttel), a step down wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The Board of Directors of KPBPL at its meeting held on March 29, 2024 has approved the same.
Fasttel is in same line of business as that of the company i.e. EPC Company engaged in Power Transmission & Distribution and Sub-station. The acquisition of additional equity share capital will further strengthen the financial position of Fasttel. It will also enhance its market presence in the local Brazilian and Latin American market. Fasttel will continue to be step down wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
