JSW Steel moves up on reporting 6% rise in consolidated crude steel production in Q2FY25
JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 1000.85, up by 5.85 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 995.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 997.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1006.25 and Rs. 997.05 respectively. So far 16161 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1063.35 on 04-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 723.15 on 01-Nov-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1063.35 and Rs. 983.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 244545.40 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.56% and 18.64% respectively.
JSW Steel has reported consolidated crude steel production for Q2FY25 at 6.77 million tonnes, increasing by 6% Year-on-Year (YoY) over 6.41 million tonnes in Q2FY24. The Crude Steel production was higher by 7% quarter- on- quarter (QoQ). Capacity utilisation at Indian Operations stood at 91% for Q2FY25.
The company reported production of 6.63 million tonnes from Indian Operations in Q2FY25 over 6.20 million tonnes in Q2FY24, a growth of 7%. JSW Steel USA - Ohio’s crude steel production stood at 0.14 million tonnes in Q2FY25.
