Jio Finance Platform and Service Limited (JFPSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL), today announced the launch of a new feature on the JioFinance app that enables JioFinance+ customers to convert their accumulated JioPoints into JioGold. Introduced ahead of Dhanteras, an occasion traditionally associated with gold purchases, the offering enhances the utility of loyalty rewards by allowing customers to convert JioPoints earned through everyday financial transactions into digital gold.

The feature enables customers to convert JioPoints earned through eligible transactions, including UPI payments and bill payments, into 24K digital gold. Each JioPoint carries a redemption value of Rs 0.25, with a minimum conversion requirement of 400 JioPoints, equivalent to Rs 100. The quantity of gold credited is calculated based on the prevailing gold price at the time of conversion.

Customers can view their available JioPoints balance, select the number of points they wish to convert and see the corresponding value in gold before confirming the transaction. The feature also enables seamless onboarding for customers without an existing JioGold account. Upon successful conversion, the digital gold is instantly credited to their JioGold holdings, with updated balances and transaction history accessible directly through the app.

Available exclusively to JioFinance+ customers, this new conversion feature further strengthens the overarching value-back proposition. JioFinance+ is a comprehensive, first-of-its-kind membership programme that offers premium benefits—including accelerated JioPoints and additional rewards—across eligible financial products on the JioFinance marketplace. Built on a unique commission-sharing model, JioFinance+ directly redistributes platform earnings back to members, enhancing transaction utility across the platform’s core financial offerings.
