J&K` ITI Rajouri implements PM Vishwakarma Yojana to provide training to local artisans
In a significant initiative towards empowering the unemployed and economically challenged individuals in the Rajouri district, the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Rajouri has kickstarted the implementation of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana Scheme. Aimed at providing free-of-cost training to men and women of all age groups, hailing from diverse areas such as Budhal, Kotranka, Dharhal, Thanna Mandi, Noushera, Manjakote, and other border regions, this scheme offers a golden opportunity for both skilled and non-skilled individuals. The ITI Rajouri, boasting an expert team of teachers, is set to provide specialized training in various trades, including carpentry, electrical work, fashion designing, basic skills training for five to seven days, and advanced training for 15 days. Moreover, participants will receive a daily stipend of 500 rupees during the training period, along with a tools kit worth 15 thousand rupees upon completion. This holistic approach aims to empower participants to start their businesses, particularly in the far-flung and remote areas of Rajouri district.
