J&K: Another batch of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims departs from Pantha Chowk
Another batch of pilgrims for the Amarnath Yatra left from Pantha Chowk base camp in Srinagar for Baltal and Pahalgam routes amid tight security on August 4. Security measures have been heightened keeping in view the safety and security of the pilgrims. This year, the yatra started on June 29 and will end on August 19, lasting 52 days. Devotees of Lord Shiva undertake this arduous annual pilgrimage to the holy cave located in the Kashmir Himalayas.
