ITI Rajouri, Mission Youth launch Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela for youths
Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Rajouri in collaboration with Mission Youth organised Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela in Rajouri on Nov 12. The purpose was to connect youth with industry experts. “This Mela was organized by industrialists, locals, where we made people aware about the role of apprenticeship and how skills can be enhanced through it... We are also running the fifth batch of the training program under Mission YUVA, where entrepreneurs are participating enthusiastically... This indicates that this will greatly benefit the state and fulfil the vision of the Prime Minister, Chief Minister... Every youth should participate in this program at least once...,” said Ujwal Mahajan. “We organise a fair every 3 months where we tell everyone about Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM). The Prime Minister's vision is to produce 4-5 crore skilled workers by 2030. Any candidate who wants to study and work can enrol in this scheme. Depending upon the industries present in the district and the requirements they have, we connect the apprentice to them... Any age group can benefit from this scheme. The motto is 'You are earning while learning,” said Instructor.
