FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per June 06 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18264.79 crore against gross selling of Rs 18215.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 49.41 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2236.92 crore with gross sales of Rs 2501.03 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 264.11 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 79.79 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 257.27 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 441.59 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 23.39 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.66 crore in hybrid segment.
