ITC gains on launching dairy products in Jharkhand

ITC is currently trading at Rs. 453.00, up by 6.05 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 446.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 448.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 453.00 and Rs. 445.50 respectively. So far 154299 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 499.60 on 24-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 323.00 on 28-Sep-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 448.75 and Rs. 438.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 557731.36 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 85.59% and 14.41% stake respectively, in the company.

ITC has entered into the dairy business in Jharkhand with the launch of various products under its 'Aashirvaad Svasti' brand. The company will offer a slew of dairy products like milk, curd, paneer, lassi and mishti doi (sweet curd) to the consumers of the state.

The company has expanded its milk-based offerings to Jharkhand after establishing a strong brand presence in Bihar and West Bengal. The dairy products offered by the company are differentiated and innovative and have become an established brand in these two states within a short span of five years. The Aashirvaad Svasti dairy products will be available across 2000 general and modern trade outlets across Jharkhand.

ITC has business a interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agribusiness, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
