Chief Sustainability Officer of JSW Group, Prabodha Acharya, said, “ITA is one of the very important launch that has happened in India. This is about identifying and encouraging the project which can make a difference in industrial transition to low carbon products. The biggest takeaway is that how we all need to work together to make the transition faster in a commercially viable manner. There are hindrances, but how we want to get advantage of those and make a positive progress to make those announced project happen is one of the biggest takeaway. Generally, the industry faces three challenges. Finance at a cheaper cost. The cost of finances has to be lower. There has to be demand for low carbon products in general. And there has to be technology available to make this transition happen. So generally, these are the three headwinds you face when you work on a project to make it happen. But somebody has to be a leader.”
