Infosys gains on collaborating with LIC

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 1955.45, up by 5.70 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 1949.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1949.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1958.20 and Rs. 1942.45 respectively. So far 55281 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1975.05 on 02-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1352.00 on 01-Nov-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1958.70 and Rs. 1904.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 810810.47 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 14.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 70.22% and 15.17% respectively.

Infosys has collaborated with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to spearhead its digital transformation initiative called DIVE (Digital Innovation and Value Enhancement). As part of the collaboration, the company will enable the creation of a cutting-edge NextGen Digital Platform, which will focus on delivering seamless Omni channel engagement and data-driven hyper-personalized experiences to LIC’s customers, agents and employees. 

The company was selected by LIC for its extensive experience in executing large-scale digital transformation projects and its deep expertise in the banking, financial and insurance sectors. Infosys will provide LIC with turnkey system integration services using AI capabilities from Infosys Topaz and DevSecOps services from Infosys Cobalt. Infosys Cobalt is a set of services, solutions, and platforms for enterprises to accelerate their cloud journey, while Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering suite, enhances Cobalt with generative AI capabilities. In addition, Infosys will help establish the necessary infrastructure for digital transformation and ensure ongoing monitoring and maintenance once the platform is operational.
