Indian Army organises volleyball tournament for girls in J&K`s Anantnag
The Indian Army organised a girls’ volleyball tournament in Anantnag district of South Kashmir to empower and encourage local talent. Over 50 girl students from various schools participated, showcasing their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Large number of spectators turned up for the event.
The event was aimed to enhance the sporting skills of local players and promote a culture of sports in the region. A felicitation ceremony was held at the culmination of the tournament to recognise and boost the players’ achievements and sportsmanship. The local players appreciated the step taken by the Indian Army.
