Summary

* Indian markets closed on flat note where selling was mainly seen in Oil & Gas, IT, Realty Sectors. Nifty Feb Futures closed at 23123.85 (down 29.30 points) at a premium of 78.30 pts to spot.

* FIIs were net sellers in Cash to the tune of 4969.30 Cr and were net sellers in index futures to the tune of 425.81 Cr.

* India VIX increased by 0.16% to close at 14.90 touching an intraday high of 15.62

* The above second chart shows previous trading day’s change in Nifty options where Addition in OI were seen in 23300, 23200, 23100, 23000 strike Calls and at 22700, 22800, 22900, 23000 strike Puts indicating market is likely to remain range bound in the near term.

* Highest OI build-up is seen at 23500 strike Calls and 22500 strike Puts, to the tune of 20.77mn and 19.65mn respectively
