Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, "India and the UK have a very strong technology and strategic partnership. We have an FTA signed between the two countries and we have seen so much collaboration, co-creation, and co-development; we have seen the development of new technologies together...We are working on the rare earths and critical minerals. I am sure you are aware that recently the Union Cabinet approved a critical minerals mission and we are working with the people who understand the processing of rare earths because India has very good deposits of rare earth beach sands and we must develop our processing technologies. That's the next goal that we're working on and I think we'll be able to do that in a very reasonable way"
