While speaking on India's men's hockey team winning bronze at Paris Olympics, Congress MP Jebi Mather expressed joy and called it a “great moment.”
He said, “It's a great moment. There's smiles on lips because we are indeed very proud of Indian Hockey Team. I congratulate the entire team for this great victory. This is also a moment for us to realise that whatever needs to be done for the improvement of Hockey as such, we should give more seriousness and we should give them all the support that is required. It's a moment to celebrate and also it's a moment to reflect that all sports and all sportspersons should be given the due respect, all the encouragement for them to flourish and we should get more medals in Olympics and also all other World Championships that happen...”
